HIMACHAL ~ AMRITSAR WITH AGRA ~ 10 NIGHTS & 11 DAYS

DAY 01 : CATCH FLIGHT FOR DELHI ARRIVAL DELHI AIRPORT - - AGRA - VISIT TAJ & RETURN DELHI

On early morning catch flight for Delhi. On arrival in Delhi Airport meet with our representative and transfer to Agra. On arrival in Agra visit - Taj Mahal The TajMahal is synonymous to love and romance. The name "TajMahal" was derived from the name of Shah Jahan's wife, MumtazMahal, and means "Crown Palace". The purity of the white marble, the exquisite ornamentation, precious gemstones used and its picturesque location, all make a visit to the TajMahal gain a place amongst the most sought-after tours in the world. However, until you know the love story behind the construction of the TajMahal, the beauty of the same would not enliven in your heart and mind and instead would come up as just another beautiful building/monument. Also visit - Agra Fort Agra Fort is a historical fort in the city of Agra in India. The Agra fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site It is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the TajMahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city.It comprises many fairy-tale palaces, such as the Jahangir Palace and the KhasMahal, built by Shah Jahan; audience halls, such as the Diwan-i-Khas; and two very beautiful mosques. After sightseeing drive back to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi check in overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 02 : CATCH FLIGHT FROM DELHI CHANDIGARH AIRPORT

CHANDIGARH AIRPORT ARRIVAL ~ ~ SHIMLA (125 K.MS 03 HRS 30 MIN)

On arrival pick up from the Airport or Railway station. Depart for Shimla. Shimla is the white winter queen of India. The journey itself is a destination because the enchanting views outside your window will blow your mind. Once you reach Shimla, get your check-in formalities completed. Take time to relax. In the evening, you can set your foot out for Mall Road hopping. Mall Road is a famous shopping place in Shimla to buy local souvenirs, and the place is dotted with several restaurants! Post-Mall Road fun, return to your hotel and then enjoy goodnight sleep. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel Shimla.

DAY 03 : SHIMLA ~ ~ LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Pony and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after lunch sightseeing of various places in and around. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grind lays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grind lay, The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 04 : SHIMLA ~ ~ MANALI (265 K.MS 8 HRS)

On day 3, after breakfast, begin driving towards Manali. Treat your eyes to the snow-clad peaks and lush greenery, on the way. Upon arriving, check-in at your hotel. Relax for some time. You are free to spend the day as per your liking. In the evening, visit the vibrant and sprawling Mall road for shopping. You can get your hands on some nice woollen clothes, handicrafts and more. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 05 : MANALI ~ ~ LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

On day 4 after breakfast is fixed for visiting the attractions of Old Manali, which is home to a number of famous temples. Today, you visit Manu Temple- close to the main market this temple is dedicated to Manu Rishi who was a popular Hindu Sage, Hadimba Devi Temple- an ancient temple that is dedicated to Hadmiba who was the wife of one of the five Pandavas Bhim and Vashisht Temple- believed to be around 4000 years old. The next visit is to the Tibetan Monastery. Later, meet the exotic wildlife of the region at Van Vihar National Park. Back to the hotel for dinner. Stay overnight.

DAY 06 : MANALI ~ ~ DAY TRIP SOLANG VALLEY & ATAL TUNNEL

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to Solang Valley where you can enjoy various types of adventure activities (At Own Cost) including paragliding, zorbing, snow scooter ride. Visit Atal Tunnel & sissu village (As per weather conditions). Dinner at the hotel Overnight at the hotel Manali.

DAY 07 : MANALI ~ ~ DHARMSHALA (280 KMS 10 HRS)

After breakfast check out the hotel. Depart for Dharamshala. On the way visit Kullu Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu shawal weaving Ind. On arrival check in at the hotel. After freshening up, visit Dal Lake. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 08 : LOCAL SIGHTSEEING OF DHARMSHALA

Today we explored Dharamshala. We took a photo stop at the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium. We then experience a ropeway ride known as Dharamshala Skyway offering stunning aerial views of the scenic town. Upon arrival we stroll around at the famous McLeod Ganj – a beautiful town nestled amidst majestic hills and lush greenery has a prominent Tibetan influence. Spend some time exploring McLeod Ganj. You can go shopping at the Tibetian Bazar. Later take a photo stop at Dalai Lama Monastery (subject to operation) – serene Temple complex known for its ornamental façade and vibrant prayer halls and we visit Saint John's Church – a Victorian era church built in the 18th century and Bhagsu Naag Temple – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself. Here we enjoy a small walk in the Himalayan Ranges, feel the freshness in the air while we walk through this picturesque paradise and witness the beautiful sunset in the Himalayas.

DAY 09 : DHARMSHALA ~ ~ AMRITSAR ~ DISTANCE – 205 KM – 04 Hrs 30 MIN DRIVE APPROX

Today after breakfast we proceed to Amritsar.

On arrival check in into hotel after some rest. Visit - Golden Temple – also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. Golden temple at night is certainly a treat for the eyes & soul. We then have free time for shopping. Overnight stay in Amritsar Hotel.

DAY 10 : AMRITSAR ~ ~ LOCAL SIGHTSEEING

Today we proceed to Amritsar local sightseeing. First we visited Jallianwala Bagh – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919 and the Partition Museum – world's first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. On afternoon transfer to Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959. Later in the evening we enjoy the Sound & Light Show at Gobindgarh Fort. We then have free time for shopping.

DAY 11 : AMRITSAR AIRPORT DROP - - CATCH FLIGHT FOR BACK TO HOME -

After breakfast check out and transfer to airport for your journey back home with memories of your trip.
